This blog post stems from an email I wrote to a friend addressing issues of anti-semitism in the protestant churches, among a few other things. The fact of the matter is anti-semitism is anti-God. I am not saying we of hebrew decent are Gods! That is not what I mean at all. We are simply human beings with a special genealogy and a unique way of life. It was our ancestors that YHWH gave the Torah. Most jews are looking for the messiah to come, many of us already know the messiah came around 2000 years ago. His name is Yeshua Hamashiach. If you feel that jews or the jewish way of life is gross, wrong, stupid or whatever you are going against God and that is anti-semitism. That way of life is how our God YHVH has commanded us to live. He has also called all gentile believers into that path as well through YHVH’s son, our messiah and high priest Yeshua!
The catholic church has a long history of anti-semitism. Adolf Hitler was a catholic and as a child he wanted to grow up to become the Pope. He followed catholic history and modeled his ghettos after the catholic style ghettos that was used by the catholic church during the european middle ages. Even going as far as making the jews wear a yellow star on their clothes. Yellow was an insult that called them cowards. It was done many centuries before Hitler ever came to power by the Roman Catholic Church. Hitler just did it on a much larger scale. For more information on that I encourage you all to read the book “Petrus Romanus” by Tom Horn and Cris Putnam.
The Roman Catholic Church hated jews so much they could not accept a jewish messiah. So they changed “Yeshua’s” name to “Jesus” the greek spelling “Iesous” meaning “Son of Zeus”. They changed “Yeshua’s” title to “Christ” from “HaMashiach”. HaMashiach means “The Messiah”. Interesting also is “IHS” a common abbreviation for “Iesous” seen in many catholic churches. “IHS” is the mystery name of Bacchus (Tammuz). All artistic portraits of Yeshua, the apostles and even the virgin Mary looks very gentile because of the anti-semitism. Traditional catholic teachings even claim that none of the apostles were jews but all were gentiles. It is extremely anti-semitic!
Then the protestant reformation began. The jews were not tortured and murdered under the protestants the way they were under the catholic church. Protestants did jump jews from time to time and did evil things to them without a doubt. However it was not official protestant church practice to do so. Martin Luther one of the biggest reformers even wrote a anti-semitic book titled “The Jews and Their Lies”. If you don’t believe me you can look the book up on amazon and buy a copy of it. It is still printed and distributed today. Of course the catholic and protestant churches in modern times have distanced themselves publicly from anti-semitism. However it still exist in many places especially in the Vatican secret councils. The Vatican currently wants to bring in a new one world religion. It has been on that track since Vatican II began back in the 1960’s. Both the catholic and protestant churches main teachings are covertly anti-semitic!
The anti-semitism of the diseased and sickly catholic and protestant churches is still present in most of their teachings. Even though many of them now “Stand with Israel”. Most still holds to replacement theology that stemmed from the catholic church’s anti-semitic teaching that gentiles are somehow better than the jews. Forgetting the teachings of Romans 11:17-21 where Paul warned against that kind of mindset. The protestant reformation had many good things about it but they still did not make a complete restoration. They liberated the holy scriptures from the catholic church and translated it into many languages so all could hear and read the word of God. They stopped a lot of the violence against the jewish people and enabled the USA to be founded bringing us liberty and prosperity. My hebrew ancestors understood the greatness of America and migrated here in the early 1800’s before the civil war began. They understood they would be persecuted less in America than in Europe. They would still have to deal with perscution from individuals but knew the government here would not persecute them like the governments of Europe. Freedom of Religion was something they wanted greatly and has been the dream of many.
The protestant churches still held onto many false teachings from the catholic church. Doing away with all things jewish in nature is one of those things. The protestants have always celebrated Easter “the festival of Ishtar” instead of “passover”. Even though we are commanded to still keep the passover in remembrance of the sacrifice of Yeshua in 1 Cor 5:8. Keeping the feast of unleavened bread was a rehearsal of sorts for the jews awaiting their messianic salvation and as a remembrance of the deliverance YHWH gave them from Egypt. It should be done in remembrance of Yeshua too. It should be symbolic of us casting off the leavened bread called sin for a new unleavened bread called salvation, sincerity, and truth. Instead many people ignore the hebrew festivals and the dietary laws which was never truly lifted and sacrifice a pig for easter sunday. The easter ham is an evil anti-semitic way of disrespecting the sacrifice of Yeshua! (More on that topic in a upcoming blog)
The catholic and protestant churches failure to keep the sabbath is a form of anti-semitism that came out of the catholic churches. Sunday meeting before Constantine happened on Saturday night after the sabbath had ended. For jews the new day begins at sunset. That is how time was counted. The calendar and clocks did not change until after Constantine. Even Hebrews 4:9-11 commands all believers to keep the sabbath. Sabbath keeping was not done away with at all, nor were we supposed to change the day or time of the sabbath. In Daniel 7:25 it speaks of a beast that will come to change the appointed times (hebrew festivals) and the law (meaning the gospel and torah). This was done by the catholic church, it says the people will be given into the hands of that beast, which is Rome (Roman Catholic Church). The RCC is the beast that changed the calendar and forbid their subjects to partake in the hebrew festivals, replacing them with pagan festivals wearing a Catholic/Christian mask. That practice spilled over into the protestant reformation because all of the first reformers were born catholic.
It is something that will be done until the end of the tribulation when the time of the gentiles is fulfilled. The millennial kingdom belongs to those who walk in the footsteps of a messianic jew regardless of if they have hebrew blood or not. For all who love Yeshua and YHVH will accept the Torah and the Gospels, for they are grafted into the house of Israel. It is often pointed out by protestants in regards to messianic jews preaching this message that there are no second class citizens using 1 Cor 12 to make their case. However they forget Romans 11:17-21 that says they cannot exist without their hebrew roots. If you don’t take part in the hebrew roots, how can you be truly grafted into the house of Israel?
Catholics and Protestants don’t understand the difference between tradition and mitzvah. Yeshua’s death and resurrection ended the levitical priesthood and began the messianic priesthood. The priesthood just changed hands. The covenant of circumcision was no longer required for gentile believers to convert. Those of jewish bloodline still have to keep the covenant of Abraham which is circumcision. The torah still stands. Don’t believe me read Matthew 5:17-19, Romans 3:31, Romans 7:12 and 1 Timothy 1:8 and keep in mind that where it uses the word “Law” it is referring to the Torah. I will reference those passages from a Complete Jewish Bible at the end of this blog.
The tribulation is meant not to punish the unbeliever but to purify the church. To bring it back to what it was meant to be and finish the time of the gentiles being in control. The traditions Yeshua spoke against came from rabbinical law called “The Talmud” and “Kabbalah”. Yeshua spoke highly of “The Torah” and “The Prophets”. I plan to write more post about how Yeshua’s teachings relate to the Torah in the future. We have to live a set apart life and being a true believer means being an outcast. Matthew 7:21-23 makes it clear that many will live a christian lifestyle much like the protestant and catholic church goers but they will have no part in the kingdom of heaven because they are nothing more than workers of lawlessness. Workers of lawlessness means people who turn their back on “the law” meaning “the torah” and teach others to do so too. They have a huge amount of contempt for the torah and it’s teachings.
Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, only those who do what my Father in heaven wants. 22 On that Day, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord! Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we expel demons in your name? Didn’t we perform many miracles in your name?’ 23 Then I will tell them to their faces, ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’
The greek word for lawlessness in this passage is “Anomia” defined as a.) “contempt or violation of the law” or b.) “the condition of being without the law (torah) because of ignorance or because of direct violation because there was not care for it”. The word “contempt” is defined as “the feeling that a person or thing is beneath consideration, worthless, or deserving scorn”. Protestants and Catholics do have contempt for the Torah. They view it as beneath consideration or being worthless. They preach that the torah was made null and void when Yeshua died and was resurrected even when so many scriptures disprove that teaching.
Here are a few scriptures to ponder as you go about your day after reading my thoughts on this issue.
The words of Yeshua in Matthew 5:17-19: (Notice in verse 18 where it says when the torah will become null and void. That is right at the end of time when heaven and earth pass away.)
Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
17 “Don’t think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. 18 Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud or a stroke will pass from the Torah — not until everything that must happen has happened. 19 So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Keep in mind these next two passages comes from Romans the letter to the gentile church! The same base that eventually transformed into the Roman Catholic Church.

31 Does it follow that we abolish Torah by this trusting? Heaven forbid! On the contrary, we confirm Torah.
Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
12 So the Torah is holy; that is, the commandment is holy, just and good.
This last one comes from 1 Timothy. It speaks of how the torah intends itself because the Talmud and Kabbalah or other interpretations of men are not lawful.
1 Timothy 1:8
Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
8 We know that the Torah is good, provided one uses it in the way the Torah itself intends.
