The thing I could not afford or have time for this month is gallstone removal. Not surgically but by a proper detox of the liver, gallbladder and bile ducts. A proper colon cleanse, along with a liver and gallbladder flush is a healthy way to start a new healthy lifestyle change or diet if you wish to call it that. I know that is a little too much information but I think it should be encouraged if we wish to get truly healthy.

Also people fail with diets because they stay hungry. The body stays hungry when it is malnourished. The bigger a person gets the more nutrition they need and the more they are lacking. Junk going into the body turns to fat while the body is starving for nutrition. It stores everything it cannot use as fat on the body. For those needing help keeping hunger pains at bay there are a couple of things that can help. First is the ingredient that makes trimspa work and best of all you can buy this as a supplement that has no side effects unlike trimspa which does have side effects. That ingredient is called “glucomannan”. It can hold and absorb quite a bit of water to take up room in your stomach so you feel fuller. It is best to take for weight loss with a full glass of water 30 minutes before eating. That way you will eat less. Plus glucomannan is much cheaper than trimspa and works just as good.

Another good way to calm hunger pains is to incorporate nutrient dense chia seeds into your diet. Chia seeds come from a sage plant and help aid in reducing hunger and providing many much needed health benefits. Including giving you more energy to get up and exercise with. It is an amazing product that I recently learned about and plan to purchase some after I get paid. Don’t let the chia pet stop you from consuming this wonderful food that can help people lose weight.

I want to mention for those of you who are going to start exercising after the new year or whenever. After you exercise go home and soak in a warm bath with two cups of epsom salt added to the water for 15 to 20 minutes. The magnesium in the epsom salt bath will help your muscles relax, and give your body more energy the next time and a desire to keep on with what you are doing. I have known people who used this method quite successfully. It is absorbed straight into the skin. So you don’t need to worry about the laxative effect that it gives when consumed orally. If you are not fond of soaking in a tub and prefer showers at least allow yourself to have a warm epsom salt foot soak for 15 to 20 minutes.

I know this has been a bit of interesting news and some disgusting bits of information. It is my hope that it helps you the reader. At least someone looking to change their life. I know looking at me people wonder what makes me an expert. I am not an expert. I am someone who has had health problems and have bothered myself with learning all I could about how to fix them. I am someone who simply wants to help and share what I have learned.

Last thing but most important. We have to have a biblical approach to eating, not an American approach. We have to view food as a means to live, not as something to make us feel better. A big part of the diet back in those days was fish, bread, lots of fruits, veggies and very little meat. It was something similar to a 2000 calorie 70 grams of fat a day diet. Of course they did not have GMO and processed and chemical filled foods. The diets were all organic. That is why people lived over one hundred years so frequently back then.

We have to keep in mind that new years is no different from any other day. It is just another moment in time. Without any long term serious commitment to changing your views of your life style, nothing will change. Viewing it as a short term diet that is hard might enable you to drop the weight. Once the goal is reached and a person goes back to living the lifestyle that caused them to gain the weight in the first place, they are back to where they started. That is the problem with yo-yo dieters like Kristie Alley. They were never committed to changing their lifestyle. They were committed to losing weight. I was once a yo-yo dieter too. Their idol was weight loss. Their goal should have been to serve God by getting healthy and teaching others to be healthy. I guess this is it for this post. I hope you all have a great day, subscribe to my blog and please share any information you learn on here with your friends, family, and associates.

  1. I have seen my waistline expand over the years and am trying to do something about it, so appreciate your insights here and in Pt 1

    • Thank you so much for commenting. Don’t forget to check out part two. To me part two is far more helpful than part one. I love that blog of yours though it was amazing…

  2. Great thoughts here! I especially like how you mentioned how we need a biblical approach to eating. I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of the “hallelujah diet” (www.hacres.com) but it may be very interesting to you. It is actually a lifestyle change not a diet. But the main concept is that your diet is approx 85% raw (b/c our bodies are made up of live cells and we need to eat mostly unprocessed foods that still have the live enzymes to feed our bodies correctly), and about 15% cooked foods (like baked potatoes, whole grains etc). It is pretty drastic compared to the standard american diet but it really makes a lot of sense when you study it. My whole family lived this type of lifestyle for a number of years before I left home to get married. My mom lost over 100 lbs doing this. She had been heavy my whole life and tried just about every diet out there. So, feeding her body nutritionally really worked. Sorry I wrote so much, I just thought maybe you would be interested in checking it out. I hope your plan of action and your determination, and the Lord, help you to reach your goals in the near future. I enjoy your blog! :)

    • I have not heard of the hallelujah diet before. That sounds like an amazing resources. There are so many options out there at best we can mix and match a few of them but doubtful we will be able to incorporate them all. I am very familiar with a raw food style diet and do support raw food. I have not been able to do the raw food thing because I cannot get my family on that band wagon. I will have to check out that book though. I am a book nut and love to read. Thank you so much for your input, I appreciate it very much.

  3. I do not mind at all. Feel free to repost anything you like. Thank you for taking the time to read and asking to repost. I appreciate it very much.
